So some of my platies in my 35 gal tank have ich so i put some ich treatment inside and I plan on moving my axolotl over to that tank but I heard that ich medicine is dangerous for axolotls, would it be safe to move my axolotl after the ich is treated or do I have to wait a certain amount of days without putting any medicine to move my axolotl.

ich treatment tends to contain copper sulphate which then leaches into everything including the silicone of the tank making the tank a no go area for axolotls, also because the platies will have absorbed some of the treatment they will be poisonous to your axolotl for a while as well.

how long would I have to wait
or could I move the platies to avoid the issue?

because my current axo tank has a really high nitrate/nitrite level and my axo seems to be stressed so I want to move it asap

Some sites say axolotls can have Ichthyophtirius, others don't mention it.
A careful attitude could be :
- move the platies elsewhere to treat them,
- let their ex-tank quarantinize during one month, increasing temperature.

Another point : to fix your high nitrates and nitrites levels, water changes are required quickly to lower them.
Nitrites shouldn't even be quantified.

Do I really have to wait 1 month is there any other way ?

Because Im kind of stupid and didnt do enough research before buying my axie so I put gravel and the filter makes a strong current
so I want to move her quickly to my bigger tank

Normally, Ich free forms (microscopic, in the water) survive about 2 days without any host.
But it depens on
- your diagnostic : is it really Ich ? and not oodinium for example ? Not the same treatments.
- the temperature. The higher it is, the shorter is the survival of ich, but I cannot tell any precise temperature values.

Ichthyophtirius on axolotls is poorly documented (I didn't find any photo), contrary to oodinium.

I said one month in the doubt, as a careful attitude...
You'll have to appreciate the risks/benefits.

So how long would it take for the i treatment to disappear from the water approximately and how could I speed it up

As Wolfen said it very well, if you use something containig copper sulfate, copper will never disappear

Cant I just do a 100% water change? or put activated carbon in my filter?

do you know what the main/active ingredient is?

methylene blue is safe for axolotls although if it was used in a tank it will have damaged your biological filtration, although even though the tank has been cycled with/for fish you would have had to cycle it for axolotls anyway.
