I need newt ID! help please.

I cant seem to find what type of newt this is. I am located in Northern california, and found the eggs in a pond. any help in identifying them would be great. Thanks in advance for your response! =) Lori

There appears to be two types of larvae there the second looks a hell of a lot like an axolotl.

My guess would be either Taricha or some kind of Ambystoma.
