I like the idea of the terra-cotta pots decorated with little pebbles and stones, though i'm unsure what the rocks are stuck to the pots with? Can anyone tell me how to go about cutting the pots and then decorating them with the little stones? It sounds like a really nice little hobby. i don't have an Axolotl yet, but i hope to have one soon. the tank is all set up and ready for my little guy when i get him, but now that i think about it, i think i want to redocorate it and put one of those nifty pots in. any tips?

The tank needs to cycle. Leave if for a month before getting an axie if you can wait that long. If you can't you need to to daily water changes for the first week or so, I think. Have a look in the other threads, because there was recently a topic on this. Probably in the last three weeks or so.

Thanks Anna. I was thinking that i won't do a complete tank remake just yet. I'll get my little buddy and keep in in my tank until he grows and then move him up to a 20 gallon or even a 30. For now, my tank is nice and is filtrating very nicely

but if anyone can tell me how to make the decorated tara-cotta pots, i'd really appreciate it.

Rheann - I think you emailed me about the pots and rocks. I replied to your email with the details. Just incase you didn't receive it here are the cliff notes:

The rocks are aquarium gravel.

They are stuck to the pot using black aquarium silicone.

I cut the pot with a hacksaw and a jigsaw - a dremel tool would of worked nicely but I do not own one.
