Weren't you saying in chat that you have close to 300 axolotls already?
It's good to be enthusiastic, but it says in your profile that you're 14 and it looks like you're asking to buy quite a few diverse species, some of which have specific needs and/or quite a lot of living space, and it may be a little overwhelming.
if you alreasdy have that many animals i think you cant really get any more unless you are
A. Rich
B. have lots of time
C. have the space for the animals and the
equipment
D. Legally insane
Any ways mudpuppies are really hard to keep, large tanks, copious waste produced, and water changes are a bitch. Lets not for get the temp regulation and so on and so forth. If i were you id give this alot of thought.
Yaisel i think youve got alot on your hands as it is...You said youd take 5 different Amphibian species on ads...I suggest you stick to one species...Keep your axies(if you really have them) or stick w/ sumthing easy...Do you know what an acf is...Or what people were selling under their scientific names?...
I had words with this person the other day about not being able to take care of animals when s/he was in the chat room wanting to know everything about a species... Though I couldn't tell you which one.
maybe he has a lil business going and sells em? if he has 300 that he has managed to keep alive then thats cool! and its the summer hols..what else are you supposed to do when you live in florida?!? well im sure i could def think of a few things!!. .. ... !!! ! ! ! ! ! !!!!
But if you have 300 animals as it is, it's generally not a good idea to acquire more, regardless of what you plan to do with them, especially not different species that may have different needs that you're not experienced with or know much about.
I'm surprised what all sayed.and sorry my profile is that this one..i'm 23 not 14 and i sold all most of my axolotI i sold 250 axolotle to people that like to have them and take really good care of them.thank-u for all what u sayed..
How many animals are you breeding? You're saying you're breeding parrots, axolotls and garter snakes so far. And you're looking to purchase caecilians, baby squirrels, sirens, etc. (And caecilians are an animal I would hope only the most experienced person would even have the slightest interest in keeping. To the few members of this forum that has them, I give you a lot of credit.)
Do you have space needed to properly house all these animals?
i have space for every animal that i have i got 23 ak are enough for every animal..and also every animal i pay a vet to come to my house very month to see all the animal i have..
Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
sorry I am having a hard time trying to upload the pictures- I have them saved on my hard drive... any suggestions-the prompts here are not allowing for downloads that way as far as I can tell. Thanks
