'was just walking past my tank and saw two of my kids doing this. Even after I waved my hand down there to get their attention they just turned back to the wall - I dunno why but I couldn't stop laughing.

Whatever it was they were doing, it must've been interesting

Perhaps it's television for 'lotls?
I find Spyyk doing that in front of a bit of bogwood - I worked out why the other day. Turns out that a few of the shrimp live in cracks in it during the day...!

As long as they're happy!

Have you thought about giving them toys?
My Spyyk has a TON of stuff to play with, her favourite being the sunken pingpong ball.
It's got just a liiiiittle bit of air in it, so when she snaps, it moonjumps away and she chases it.

It is very good fun.

There is so much you can offer them to play with.

Spyyk likes to sniff, sit and explore anything new, so I regularly find her something to play with.
This weeks new toy was a whopping great big bit of cut glass, with bevelled edges of course.
Looks like a flipping great diamond - she's been running up the 45 degree front and sliding back down again...

Week before I gave her a set of plastic interlocking rings from a trashed budgie toy - the budge had ripped off the bell and metal bits, but Spyyk's loving hefting it about on her nose, biting it etc.

Go wild, use your noddle and be creative - your 'lotl will love it.

It's getting so I rotate Spyyk's toys now, she has so much...
