Question: I have feeder guppies & ghost shrimp in he tank...

I have a few ghost shrimp & feeder guppies for the axys to chase & eat & they really dont attack or bite the axys, but about an hour ago i noticed something white mucusy boogery thing floating around , im not sure if its a sperm or not but it was floating around & the feeder fish started eating it , is it ok to have feeders in a tank with the axys if they are trying to breed or should i remove them?

ps i did a full water change to my 55 gallon tank about 5 hours ago so the water is relatively clear & i just noticed the mucusy white thing floating
