Just found hydra in my kaiseri juv tank, i am removing it as i see it with a turkey baster. It must have come in with a batch of live daphnia.
Anybody had this problem? and any tips would be welcome. :(

Oh no! :-(
I have heard that zebra apple snails eat them, and a number of fish (which I cannot specify). I would hope the zebra snails are safe, but would guess it would be dangerous for your larvae to have a predatory fish in with them.
I'll check my tanks to see if I have any of this type of snail, but I doubt I have.
Erm I could have a look at a fish shop on Monday that might possibly do them?

wait, are they juvies or larvae? I have hydras in most of my tanks occasionally. Never had any problems with them eating anything larger than microscopic. I doubt that anything larger than small larvae would be harmed by a hydra, but then, maybe someone has contrary experience?
