Well Katie I liked your necturus shot alot too, like most I had never seen one as large (in France they were once reproduced but the larvae was still quite smaller when I got to see it)
 
I love the helveticus pictures, but is it just me or does that female look a lot like a vulgaris??
 
Helveticus and vulgaris females are very difficult to tell apart , but these animals come from an area that does not hold vulgaris. Also adult vulgaris are approx 150% the size of adult helveticus. Those helveticus are really dwarf animals, but the images don't show that too well
 
Well Nicolas you should see them when they are young juveniles ... it's like they are made out of pure gold/brass ... but unfortuantelly this fades while ageing ...
