Hi guys, just wonder if anyone can offer me some guidance please. 7mo goldie, not eating last few days, tank parameters all normal, was having normal worms then found some thrown out, had some axolotl pellets and had a few of them and no problem, offered some raw prawn and ate it and then found it all thrown back up in a corner of the tank this evening! Any ideas? Looks like picture of health and moving around tank no problem.

what are your tank parameters? ie.. ph/ammonia/nitrites/nitrates/temperature also what substrate is used if any.

All tank parameters normal and no substrate, just have slate at bottom of tank

what is normal?
for your axolotl to eat something and then regurgitate it means the food didn't agree with it, for your axolotl to be do it with different foods means that it has a stomach issue, if you had sand in I would have said that it had ingested bad sand but because there is no substrate it could either be the water conditions or a stomach bug.
try putting some almond/catappa leaves in the tank also read Axolotls - Requirements & Water Conditions in Captivity to make sure that the waters salt/mineral content is correct/ideal.

Hey everyone, just want a little advice. Its 55 - 60 celcius in my Salamanders tank. Hes curled up and tyring ti bury himself, Im assuming hes too cold. I was wondering if he would benefit from a heated rock cave (since he LOVES his cave) that I could set on low? I NEVER see him curled up and trying to bury himself unless his tank sits at 63 degrees celcius or lower. So I am assuming hes a little uncomfortable.

He also seems a little sluggish, again, assuming hes cold. Having heating trouble with the new house right now. What do we think? Was thinking of grabbing this for him since its got very low, medium, and higher medium heat settings that exude heat downward inside the rock cave but ALSO exudes it UPWARDS outside of the rock cave, effectively keeping the tank itself a little warm. Seems like it miiiight be a little small for him though, my guy is about 7 inches from tip of his nose tothe tip of his tail.
