Hi, I guess I should show what my axies look like.

I'll start with Hubert :

Now as you'll see I use river rock over an elevated eggcrate type of surface as substrate.
The reason is that waste falls down and is easier to clean afterwards(when using the python it does not raise garbage in the water). The perforated glass is to separate Hubert from his friend since the other one is very small.

That's basically it, comments?

False ones in fact, all paludarium plants I tried died because of the low light I keep not to stress my axies.
 
I have the same issue. I"am not good with plants the one kind I can grow big and healthy in banana lily. Might want to give that kind a try. I have had my tank up for about a year or so have not had one die yet.
 
Hi John, to post pictures click on the "Upload Attachment" button just below the area where you type new messages. A new box will pop up and you can browse your PC to find the picture file you want to upload. One picture can be uploaded at a time. There's a size limit of 150kb but your's above are well within the limits.
