How should I start to breed?

Hi everyone,
I would like to start breeding and I would like some suggestions. I have a female and male newt. All help is appreciated.
 
I'll resist the temptation to say "Get yourself a girlfriend", so instead, I'll say this - before we tell you how, please would you tell us why?
 
Also, the name of the species you want to breed would be helpful!
 
I would like to breed newts so I could sell them and keep some and also because its a challange I want to take. I could see the stages first hand also
