How should i set up my tank ?

I have a blochged salamander "his name is carlos !" ,and i bought him when he was still in larva form but he changed and lost his gills and i canged his habitat to total water to hafe water and hafe land on the land side i have a log for him to hide under and a plant . but should it be all land or just keep it hafe and hafe ?

Terrestrial set-up is what he needs, hiding places, a good substrate, maybe a shallow dish filled with clean water... feed him earthworms!!!
