I am just looking for opinions on how often you feed your hatchlings..
I am having a hard time getting a lot of bbs to hatch right now, still working on it though. I only have enough to feed them once a day right now but I would rather be feeding twice. Will once a day work? I have some 95% hatching bbs coming to me through transit but it will be another 10days or so before it comes, until then i have the bbs i get from the petstore which i do not like.

They hatched friday/sathurday but are all eating, eventhough some say they dont eat for 48-72hours after hatching i like starting 24hours.

I just dont want them to starve while i wait for enough bbs to hatch.

Do you have a light directed at your bbs set up? If so you should be getting tons of bbs. I feed mine once a day sometimes twice if I notice many have already been eaten.

I do have a lamp directed at my bbs. I am doing everything the same way as last time and i was pretty successful last time. The only thin i can think of is location. Last time i kept the bbs in the living room but this time its in my bedroom and its always cooler in my bedroom(hense my axies also stay in my room).

I fed my babies once a day for the first 3 weeks, then twice a day - morning and night - until now (12 weeks).
They are hungry little beasties, they now get through a cube of frozen bloodworm EACH a day. There are never any leftovers, but I've had no nipping either.

Wife didn't want me using a lamp...I have a 7.5watt heater in the 2L bottle. Temp is 79-82F.
