Can salamanders, newts and axolotls survive for almost 10 or more days without food??? Because I'm going to travel and I dont have anyone to take care of them for me... its pretty cold here, so they are active... They can survive?

They all can survive without food for months but should be fed often.

Felipe, I don't know what species you have, but I know that my cynops orientalis and taricha granulosa would be just fine for ten days. I think most species would.

I heard about 7 weeks. But highly not recommanded. And if the weather is hot, then the fasting time should be shorten.

I have axolotls, tiger salamander, triturus and pleurodeles... well... I think they will be fine for 10 days! Thanks!

I agree, 10 days is no problem at all. Feed them more often than usual for a week or two before you go. Then be sure all dirt and debris is removed from the tank before you leave. They'll be fine.

Jennifer Macke, when you say to make sure all dirt and debris is removed from tank are you referring to substrate? If so, forgive me for being ill informed, but why? (just curious and new to salamanders)

Hi Amber, I just meant to remove all uneaten food, poop, and the various "brown crud" that accumulates in all tanks (often in/under the substrate). I was going to say make sure the tanks are "clean", but sometimes people interpret "clean" to mean they should change all the water and clean off everything, and this can do more harm than good. Really, the important thing is just to avoid uneaten food, etc.
