i have just been given tank which i think is 95ltrs, how many fully grown would live happily in this size tank.

The recommended is 30cm per adult axolotl. So one in a 30 cm tank, 2 in a 60cm tank, etc.

Yes 12 inches or 30 centimeters is good for one axolotl so it depends on the dimensions.

i find that a two foot tank doesnt last two full grown axies so i rekun 1.5 feet or 45cm per axie, just to give it heaps of room and keep it super happy (i like to make sure my animals have WAY to much room lol)

well, if you want them to have a lot of room you could go that way. I have a 30 inch tank so that can fit 2 at 12 inches each with some to spare.

Sharn, I'm the same way. I'm keeping 3 adults in a 48 inch tank (55 gals). I think it's good for them to have elbow room, they're not as nippy to each other if they have space to get away. But the least amount of space I would give two adults is a 20long tank. It's adequate, but probably not ideal.

its 80cm long 29cm deep and i have it 25cm full of water but that only just over half full, saw one in shop today its 96letres.
