My 9 axies will be six weeks old on Thursday. I stopped feeding them bbs on Saturday and started giving them frozen (thawed) bloodworms yesterday. They'll only eat the bloodworms if I hold the worms with tweezers and wiggle them. Even then, they're only eating one or two worms :(
I'm panicking a bit... I'm worried they're not eating enough and I'm worried they're not learning to eat bloodworms that I just drop in their containers.
How long will I need to use tweezers to feed them? When will they learn to eat bloodworms that aren't "wiggling"?
Thanks!

You might try chopping them a bit and agitating the water with just a plain piece of hard air tube. At 6 weeks I would thaw, rinse, and chop the blood worms and just drop them in their small plastic container and leave it for 24 hours, at which point I would clean the water and tub and add fresh water and chopped blood worms. They will eat if they are hungry.

I have never had to hand feed any of my hatchlings.

Don't worry, they're just not used to "non live" food. Once they work out that they're dead and it's the only thing they can eat they will eat it. :)
