If axie's are mothionless how do you know when they have hatched? do they swimm out there jelly then become motionless??

Yes. When they're outside of the jelly envelope, they've hatched. They'll not do much for a day or two, as they continue to feed off their yolk sac. Then they'll start to move more as they hunt for food. Hunting can be distinguished as little 'hopping' motions.

One dramatic change you'll notice is that the larvae will be straight - like a wee arrow, rather than the slightly curved position in the jelly sac. I remember being amazed at how long they were when they were completely straightened out.

Thanks alot mary kate and kaysie.
