I didn't expect them to hatch so soon. The aquarium that they're in is a 20 gallon long aquarium and is about 3/4 full. I'm leaving on a short vacation and I put some brine shrimp eggs in the tank for when they are ready to eat. Only about 4 have hatched and if I lowered the water level, it would leave the unhatched eggs out of water. I guess my question is if they can survive in this deep of water. If getting air is the problem, there is an air stone at one side of the aquarium

Well first off the brine shrimp will not hatch in the tank nor will the babies eat brine shrimp eggs. There is a post on how to harvest bbs in the forums and its pretty useful!

I had kept mine in tuperware containers with only a little bit of water in each one. And i also seperated the babies from the unhatched eggs as well. I dont think its air perse they need more then they may not find food in a 20gallon tank.

If you were using daphnia i wouldnt be to worried but bbs die really quick and your babies may not find them in time, and they wont eat anything that isnt moving. Moreso the bbs foul the wTer up really quick so daily water changes are a must or the water will get to dirty. Unless you have a filter in the tank which in my opinion i wouldnt recommend it the hatchlings can get hurt and are more sensitive to water flow.

I had no aeration and they still have no aeration but i do daily 100%water changes in their tubs. The amount of water changes that are required i found no sense in using an airstone
