How cold is too cold..?

I have one FBN,i want another but I was wondering how cold was to cold..i read 68 was good but what about like 64-68...

That range is good. Mine rountinely get down to, or below, freezing during the winter every year and survive just fine.

The person who had my boyfriend's newts before he got them apparently kept them in a shed in winter, which got cold enough to make the water freeze over from time to time (they removed the ice when this happened), it didn't harm them, just made them want to breed in the spring

Awsome thanks guys y mini fridge chiller getsem pretty cold.can you keep any other species with FBN?or will they fight?

Theres a few combinations that work for some people, but it's very hit-and-miss. Best to keep them with their own species only
