Hello,

A female axolotl does not technically get "pregnant"; her belly would be round with eggs, not babies. If you suspect that your female is gravid, you will only need to wait 24 hours to see for sure, as she will begin laying eggs.

If i dont see the axie lay the eggs where do you think the most likely place they will lay them be?

She will lay them everywhere. If you have plants in the aquarium, these are the place she will begin. She will lay hundreds of eggs - you can't miss them. She will lay them in strings of single eggs along plants, decorations, even the ground if there is nothing else in the aquarium for her to brush against.
