Hi, I'm new here, and I got a problem with my Golden Axolotl.
He is very thin, has very small gills and has a hard time eating, I don't know what to do.
If you could give me a hand I will appreciate any help given!

Please post your water parameters (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH) and temperature. How often do you change the water, how much, do you use any water conditioners? What are you feeding your axie and how often? How old and long is the axie? How long have you had the axie? A picture of the axie as well as your tank might help too.

All the parameters of the water are Ok, I think i was giving him big parts of fish, so I am now reducing the size of the food, and giving him more often but tinier.
I will try to post a pic of him when I go home, so you can tell me if he is good or how he should be.
Thanks :)

Hey everyone, just want a little advice. Its 55 - 60 celcius in my Salamanders tank. Hes curled up and tyring ti bury himself, Im assuming hes too cold. I was wondering if he would benefit from a heated rock cave (since he LOVES his cave) that I could set on low? I NEVER see him curled up and trying to bury himself unless his tank sits at 63 degrees celcius or lower. So I am assuming hes a little uncomfortable.

He also seems a little sluggish, again, assuming hes cold. Having heating trouble with the new house right now. What do we think? Was thinking of grabbing this for him since its got very low, medium, and higher medium heat settings that exude heat downward inside the rock cave but ALSO exudes it UPWARDS outside of the rock cave, effectively keeping the tank itself a little warm. Seems like it miiiight be a little small for him though, my guy is about 7 inches from tip of his nose tothe tip of his tail.
