Hello!
I have two axolotls and the ammonia levels and nitrite levels are at 0. The nitrates however are always high (at least 40+ ppm). I understand that they aren't as harmful as nitrites and ammonia, but I'd still like to keep the levels lower. I remove all waste from the tank whenever I see it and I do a 50% water change at least once a week. Is there any other way to lower these nitrates?
Thanks!
