Hi Jacq!

I am rearing 24 larvae - 4 for me and 20 for the little corner pet shop where I got the parents (please don't worry, it's a good shop and the owner is intelligent, caring, and always interested in learning more).

Yes, the faces are the first thing I noticed, when they were about 1 week old - you could see their eyes. Little faces! Completely endearing. 5 or 6 of the babies are HUGE, their heads are already about as big as a pencil eraser. And they eat a LOT; they're going through about 60 bags of Daphnia and 20 bags of mosquito larvae each week (I didn't think to breed my own and am now signle-handedly supporting the live fish food industry in Berlin.)

that is so gorgous, I think it is bigger than mine were (sadly no more ) Perhaps they died because they felt they were being constantly watched (which they were )
