Question: Hide size?

Is it better to get a large hide right away, and wait for the axolotl to grow OR have a succession of hides that start smaller?
Should it be long or more round?

I think you may as well go with the larger hides, and I usually go for longer ones as they have darker spots for the axies to hide. But as long as it is dark inside it doesn't matter what shape
