This is oxo, we got her in December and have loved watching her change in the last couple of months I think she is now mature as her toes have gone black. What do you all think?

She's adorable, very nice colour. Love the name oxo too lol.
Maybe a bit skinny? Mine's new too and he's very skinny.

Arr thank you. Yes I guess she is skinny but she has plenty of river shrimp in her tank and eats as and when she wants. I'm always taking a trip to the aquatic centre to get more. But my son loves its there with all the fish lol x

Feed her earthworms. That's more suitable for axies.

Lovely axie :)

How about starting a wormery? Your son might enjoy growing them too?
I'm thinking about making one, quite excited lol.

She's very beautiful, what a lovely and endearing face :) I agree with the worm ideas, she will be so excited if you give her a worm, they just can't get enough of them! And I bet your son would find it exciting to see her snapping one up too. I do and I'm 24 lol :p

Very pretty and cute :) may I ask what type it is exactly? I am just curious :)

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
