Hey guys it has been a while; time for an update

Well sorry for not chatting away with you guys, I have been busy with school. Anyways my Tiger Salamander has grown - she; at least I believe it is a she, is now 7.5 inches long. She has been active lately which is good sign to me that she is happy. She is eating very well. Loves to take a dip in her water bowl which I made large enough so that she can take a swim.
Everytime I am in my room she litrally claws at the wall of her enclosure. My older sister now wants one but of the opposite gender if I ever find out what gender it really is, all I know is that it has a long tail, I do not know if that is any use as far as finding out what gender it is. I am pretty sure that it is a girl though. I also arranged her enclosure to encourage her to move around and explore.

If you can get a picture of it's cloaca we will be able to tell you what sex it is.

Well, that is the problem, I do not have a camara, my mom says that she will get me one for my birthday but that is not till April.
Could I discribe ?

This article on axolotls has two pictures down at the bottom that shows the cloaca differences between the sexes, the same method applies to tigers.

I measured her the other day and she is just under 9 inches. Now what gets either to or over 9 inches ? Males or Females ?
