Here's something i was reading that looked interesting. It stated that the mandarin newt is caught for "medicinal usage" meaning: "Of, relating to, or having the properties of medicine"

Here's what it said:

NOW, if you guys already KNEW that, *FORGIVE ME*. but i tried figuring out what EXACTLY it is used for but couldnt find any info in that.

anyone know what?
 
Asian folk medecine has many dubious uses for animals. It could be used for anything from arthritis to an aphrodisiac.
