Help with my setup!!

I'm just wondering if I have a good setup for my axies, my filter doesn't disturb the water as all the water just crashes against a Rock and then runs down to the main water, I am currently cycleing it any tips or opinions are appreciated!

And I will be replacing my substrate with black play sand or something similar

It looks good other than the substrate and that it needs a hide-out for the axie. GOOD LUCK

Oh I forgot to mention, that black thing is ment to look natural (its non toxins pond foam) I made it myself and have rinsed it out bout 3 times since I had it, it has a little tunnel cave big enough for me to put my arm in hope the aches like it, any sings they don't and I'll take it out use it else where
