Help with Identification?

As I mentioned in my intro, we have a raised, man-made pond at our new home. While trying to clean the filter for the fountain, my husband came across these two little guys. I've tried to find similar pictures online, but haven't had any luck.
I'd like to try and keep them happy and healthy, so any info would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you SO much!! Hopefully I'll be able to take care of them, but they've been pretty self sufficient! We moved here in November 2006, and saw them for the first time the other day!

Thank you! I actually saw a third, different, salamander in the pond today, but didn't have my camera, so now I'm off to search pictures online...

I'm hoping so! We've decided to leave the pond as is now, no more cleaning, treating, etc., until we see what they are doing. I don't want to disturb them if they're gonna be parents
