Is this normal? I just did a water change and i left and came back and all my babies are acting like they are trying to eat but with nothin in front of them. They are just continuously opening their mouths and "attacking food" that is t there. Its scaring me because all of them are doing it and ive never seen them do it before.
What do i do? Is there something wrong?

So i did another water change out of panic and they stoped doing whatever they were doing but now a lot of them are floating and not as lively. Im so scared :( i dont even know what i did i havent done anything different.
They are all eating now, except for a few of the floating ones, they dont seem to be doing good.

Did you use aged dechlorinated water?

What kind of dechlorinator are you using (brand)?

Do you add precisely the measured amount required for the number of litres / gallons?

Are you washing out their tubs well with bicarb/salt?

What are you feeding them?

Sorry for all the usual questions
Here's hoping we can narrow down the cause with the answers.

Yes

Im feeding them live bbs.

Roomate got home and said they are gasping for air. Put echo and texas in thetank and put them in their tub with an airstone. All stoped floating and none are doing that weird thing anymore
