I’ve had my two axolotls since they were babies, it’s been about 6 months. They are both very active and I think they may be boys. However, their cloaca look very different. My wild type seems to have something going on, but I couldn’t find anything online regarding something like this. It’s always looked kinda “split open” but recently it’s gotten bigger. It’s never red and he doesn’t seem uncomfortable. It just looks so swollen to me. He eats fine, frozen bloodworms and poops regularly. Should I be worried?

It definitely does not look normal. I'm also confused by the neck area in the second picture; could you add an additional picture? I can't tell if my brain is just having trouble processing what it's seeing or it it's actually different from normal. Regarding the cloaca, I would definitely recommend getting in touch with a vet. I would guess that they'd probably need to do an x-ray and/or biopsy to figure out what's going on, but I am not by any means any kind of vetrinarian, so I don't know.

His chest has been like that since he was a baby, I read that they can grow extra fingers in random spots so I haven’t thought anything of it

While they CAN do that, it is very abnormal. To me, this combination indicates genetic issues, which will also likely manifest in non-visible ways. I would still see a vetrinarian for sure to see what can be fixed, but if I were you, I wouldn't get my hopes up for a long life for this little guy/girl ☹
