Howdy I am pretty new to keeping newts and recently picked up two juvenile Spanish Ribbed Newts. They are both eating fine and I recently bought some mealworms which turned out to be bigger than I was expecting. One of them ate one and is now floating because the worm is so buoyant! It fits fine in his tummy and he ate it with no problem, but whenever he dives down he slowly floats up! I am hoping he will pass it soon, but I am a little concerned. Should I avoid Mealworms for a bit? Also my Juveniles are about 4 inch long.
