HELP New axolotl Parent

Hello! I just recently got my first axolotl, I love snowballl so much already but Im worried he is stressed. His gills looked turned up yesterday and he wouldn't eat yesterday or today Im worried its my water current which I downsized the filter and its on the lowest current but Im thinking it's still too much Im going to get his water tested today to see if that is it either. also hes water temp is 69 all day!
Any advice? Im super worried about him!

Did you cycle your tank before you got him? What are your water parameters? If the tank isn't cycled then he probably is stressed. But also, it's a new environment. Let him settle.
