Help needed imediatly

I have 2 fb newts that i got from my uncle when he passed away i have had them for nearly 2 years now and have had no problem with them up untill now i found one dead a week ago but the other seemed fine so i took the dead one out and clean the tank and did a half water change the other seemed fine for a few day and then developed little white circles on the bottome of each foot and he has toes missing i think it may be limb rot so how do i treat it and if it is limb rot will he pull through coz i would hate to loose him .

I have done that and its all good i have tryed putting him in the fridge and i have tryed adding a little methlblue but nithings worked should i just put him to sleep coz it seems wrong to leave him to suffer

Specifically what are the parameters? And what temperature do you keep them at? Is it still eating? I suggest keeping it terrestrial for a short time to avoid dealing with water

He had atoped eating and he had gotten realy skinny and i could not get him to eat he did sadly pass way late on saturday night
