Well, I came home today, and there are newt eggs everywhere! What should I do? will they get eaten..? ;_;

PLEASE reply ASAP!

Congratulations!

- What kind of newts do you have. Some newts do eat their eggs others don't.

- To be safe, remove some of the eggs from the parental aquarium and put them in a shallow plastic box. Use water from the parental aquarium. Don't try to remove eggs from plants, take them out with whatever they're attached to.

After that, you'll have a few days to read all the info on raising newts on www.caudata.org/cc

Good luck!

It's unusual to find newt eggs "everywhere" all of a sudden. And this is an unusual time of year for them to lay. What kind of newt is it? Any other animals in the tank that might have produced the eggs?
