Hi everyone
I have 3 Firebelly Newts in a 44 gallon tank.
About 12 guppies and 6 ghost shrimp in the tank as well.
1 of the newts i noticed has a mark that looks like a cut on his back, this appeared after I found one newt dead after I left them alone for a week. I dont know if they ate the newts and there was a fight or if it is a disease?
It it getting better. But now a second newt has a tiny mark on his body above the tail and a chunk missing from his tail.
Anyone have any ideas of what is going on?? Could the fish or ghost shrimp be doing this? Or the other newts?
I was gonna put them with dozais fish but the pet store said they are too fast for the newts and guppies were better...I disagree now
Any help would be appreciated
