I have three axolotls living together in a 4 foot long tank, two of them (the black ones) have some fungus on their gills, while my wild type is really stressed out. he is skinnier than the others (looks underweight) and wont eat the food i give him, hell try but gets to bord with it and gives up. im chaging 20% of the water each day, but his tail is really curled, im not sure what to do!
and im not sure how to do a saltbath either! I NEED HELP!!!!
should i frige them and than saltbath it? what salt do you use? how much salt, what water do you use?? does it have to be from the tank?
can i just put my wild type in a tub in my tank (floating) untill he eats and uncurles his tail, with daily water changes??? lower the temperature with ice bottles?
what else will help!? what foods can i use that he will eat and fatten him up!
please help me
i clean the tank every 2 too 3 days, change the water (20%) on average 2/3 tims a week (but its been daily at the moment) and the temperature is 18! im not sure about the ph, but because ive been chaging the water so frequently, shouldnt it be down anyway?
thanks!
