Hello,
My English is not good for this far I do not allow myself to write here. And still do not orient well in the forum. They brought me new newts. I want to know the exact species to best care for them. I'll be glad if someone can help me for identification. The newts are small (size 5-6 cm). They are family Lissotriton (guess L. Boscai, L. Helveticus, L. Italicus, L.V. Kosswigi, L.V.Graecus). The male has a very low straight comb and not have webbed legs - palmatе. They stayed two weeks on land, went in the water and there are eggs (laid in early November). New newts (Lissotriton) seem dwarfs compared to they led inhabitants of the aquarium - couple Cynops Orientalis (8-9 cm). The man from whom I bought them said they are southern withstand higher temperatures. If someone has an opinion about the breed of these newts - let's help? Thanks in advance! Best regards! The pictures are there:

P.S. And more: why there is a limit and I cannot upload more photos in the album?

Kosswigi, L.V.Graecus).

Thank you for your answer, albeit belatedly! I do not feel competent and therefore I rarely enter the forum. You seem to be right, that these newts are Lissotriton V. Graecus. They were brought to me years ago from a market in Turkey, and according to the seller they are Iberian newts. It's a pity I couldn't keep this breed because it was my favorite. I had 2 generations and then they all died mysteriously with no visible signs. This happened a few years ago. I don't know if the mistake was that I grew these newts together with another species (Chinese newts "Cynops Orientalis"), which are more unpretentious to the pH of the water. Except that I was left with only one species of newts, which is a father with his 3 daughters - in the last 5 years I have no offspring. I can't figure out where the reason is and what I need to change.

Of the Lissotriton species, I have only one photo gallery left for me, I hope it will be useful to someone:

Hey everyone, just want a little advice. Its 55 - 60 celcius in my Salamanders tank. Hes curled up and tyring ti bury himself, Im assuming hes too cold. I was wondering if he would benefit from a heated rock cave (since he LOVES his cave) that I could set on low? I NEVER see him curled up and trying to bury himself unless his tank sits at 63 degrees celcius or lower. So I am assuming hes a little uncomfortable.

He also seems a little sluggish, again, assuming hes cold. Having heating trouble with the new house right now. What do we think? Was thinking of grabbing this for him since its got very low, medium, and higher medium heat settings that exude heat downward inside the rock cave but ALSO exudes it UPWARDS outside of the rock cave, effectively keeping the tank itself a little warm. Seems like it miiiight be a little small for him though, my guy is about 7 inches from tip of his nose tothe tip of his tail.
