I have four C. orientalis and they are only land based for the last four months or so. In the past I'm put them in treated water and after the initial shock of being wet they realize there's food in the water and eat. However, is there anything I can use to feed them on land so I don't have to go through upsetting there natural land state?

Yes, earthworms. They should eat them readily.
How is your tank setup? From what I've read here when these newts stick to land their water part isn't deep/big enough to their liking.

During the summer, younger C.O's tend to become more land-based. This is a result of a rise in temperature of the water. Its nothing to worry about, and they should venture back into the water come autumn / winter. As said before earthworms are great land food and you can also try blackworms. I have even had some success with live bloodworms too. Another one they enjoy is small woodlice.
