Hello all! I need help please.

A few days ago my axolotl became very sluggish. He didn't want to swim and walked rarely for a day.
He hadn't had a possibility to eat a stone because there's only sand. Temperature was around +20...21 C (68-70 F), I usually fed him with JBL Novolotl. But I've never checked the quality of water with tests so I don't know about it.

I tried to check how he was going and touched him. He freaked out, almost jumped out of the aquarium, but there was a glass, so he hit his head. The sound was very loud so I guess it hurted a lot. :( After that he just sat at the bottom and almost didn't swim, just walked very rarely. He didn't want to eat.

It was 2 days ago, and nothing changed since that time. He's just sitting (sometimes with his head up and tail up, sometimes with mouth opened), doesn't interact with me and doesn't want to eat. It doesn't seem like he broke something but maybe he could hurt his head a lot?

I decided to put him in the small tank and to lower the temperature to +12 C (~54 F), just in case. It seemed to me that low temperature is the good option anyway.

I don't know what to do, and there's no veterinarian who knows anything about axolotles in my town :(
