Help - Axies just had babies and I'm going away!

Help! Just discovered our axies laid eggs. Would be fantastic but for the fact we're heading to Oz for Xmas and wont be around to rear them properly.....

Anyone want to take them on? I'm in Layton, Utah.

You could just leave them in the tank for the adults to do as they wish. They'll find lots of little things to eat if your tank is well-established. Then, whoever is left when you get back can be sold.

The same thing happened to me a year or two ago, it was awful...they all died. Lesson of story: Don't leave someone who isn't experienced with axolotls to rear your babies! It's better to just sell the hatchlings and breed again when you get home. Kaysie made a good point too..however when I do that the babies are usually all eaten, minus 5 or so.
