She's got loads of dark corners for her to hide in, so she doesn't have to be in the light. :B

Your axolotl looks so content in the wonderfully decorated home. Lovely black sand and caves.
Makes me miss my own axolotls (im away from home at the moment) so much.

Fab tank. Looks like some of the plants are real. Mine root up all but floating plants.

Most of them are real.

Most of mine root up, so I normally put them back in place when cleaning the food out. c:

Aaaah, so that's how. One of my tanks is totally bare bottom, the other has slate, so plants can't root well, and if I keep them in those mini plantpots you buy the plants in, the axies rampage over them!

Wow, yet another tank interior designer /expert. Beautifully arranged plants and rocks. I wish i had an eye for such colour coordination and sense of proportion. Shows off the colour of your axie too!
