Hooray! Lovely pics.
I am quite fond of blue spotted salamanders, they live all over my parents back yard. :)

So glad to see they are getting bigger. In general how do they adapt to captivity, not that I am going to snatch any, I am just curious to how they do. I wonder how hard it would be to captive breed them also.

Thankyou for sharing. I love these guys and am glad yours are happy.

Very nice Dane! I love these sals as well except I haven't been able to find any. I think its actually the zone of interbreeding of the blue spotteds and jefferson's sals in my area, maybe someday I'll find some.

well, I raised them from larvae so handfeeding is all they know, they are really outgoing, and im pretty sure they would adapt farely well

I havnt breed them, although I do want to try in the future, I probably wont have the materials for a while, so I've been scheming and thinking up stuff
more pics (i couldnt get shots of both my spotted sals because Jazzy wouldnt come out...)

Your tarichas are the best I've seen ever!

AnnMarie, I have two wildcaught bluespots. They absolutely take well to captivity. Mine were rescues. But they're voracious eaters. They're almost as aggressive as my tigers when it comes to feeding. They're very easily acclimated, and are avid beggars in no time.

Hey Dane.

These Blue Spotted Sals are getting huge since the last time I saw pictures of them. Nice Job! How long would you say they are now? I see you still have all three together still hopefully they have not showed signs of aggression. Your Yellow Spotted Sal & Taricha are adorable.

they are about 4inches from nose to tail, they just all recently had growth spurts I think

They havn't shown aggresion towards eatchother and Im going to have to get them into a bigger set-up soon
