ok i did a search for amphiuma and found some full size pix of ones they look like snakes or eels.........but awww i just want its head! ive saved the pic of it in my comp hope u dont mind hehe im gonna make it my wallpaper background on ma comp

is it a salamander??? do they all look like that? ive never seen a salamander b4 in a pet shop. can you get them in england?

Salamanders come in all shapes and sizes.

Like a dog they are a dog but loads of breeds of it like a poodle, staff etc.

awww i look at it and wana cry cos its so cute but then have to start laughin cos its so funny lookin.

This salamander can also rip the flesh from your hand if given the chance, hence the smile.
 
But Isaiah, he's so CUTE! surely something so cute cant be so vicious?

    Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
