I was wondering if there's any other food items freshly hatched Axolotls would accept besides BBS and daphnia. It would be really nice if I didn't have to hatch brine shrimp or culture daphnia.

I've been having a lot of success with blackworms with slightly older larvae, though you have to chop them really fine. I think you can use them with newly-hatched just fine, though I personally didn't do it.

Dont now if you have them in the USA but microworms are a good newly hatched food and they live in a container with abit of porriage so veru low mainantence i started mine a month ago and aint done anything except use what i need since

Must say tho they are not as good as BBS or Daphnia nutrution wise

Hope that helps

Thank you
