Haha yeah, the seahorses are preatty neat:p

Congratzs thats awesome :) how long does it take for them to hatch?

The brine shrimp? If thats what you are saying, I keep the water very warm, so I put them in at night, and they are ready about noon the next day, so not even 24 hours

If your raising Axies on BBS then maintaining water conditions in small tubs will be your biggest challenge.

80-90% water changes daily, I do mine on an evening a few hours after their last feed and scrub thier tubs every 2-3 days. I use a 50ml syringe with a piece of airline attached to suck out uneaten shrimp and poop.

Have 2 batches of brine shrimp on the go. As you probably know, they are best when freshly hatched and have not consumed their yolk sacks. Rotating the supply will give you fresh shrimp.

Finally, don't go mad with the brineshrimp eggs. I see many people hatching hatching a full teaspoon of eggs for a small batch of axies. 1/4 of a teaspoon will feed a batch of 20+ for 2 days and still have some left over. Also hatching large amounts of shrimp in small water volumes will lead to a huge die off in the shrimp. As you've noticed, good quality brine shrimp eggs ain't cheap.

For me 1/4 teaspoon in 500ml of water works well with 2 tsp of cooking salt.

Thanks Spyder! Yes, haha its not the cheapest thing I have ever bought. I am doing everything you just said, except Not as many water changes as I should:S But I will start to do them alot, and daily. And yeah, about the brine shrimp, noticed a little does go a long way!. When you do two batches, how do you do it? I think that's the only confusing thing about it. Do I put the eggs in one day in one, then eggs in another one tomorrow and just keep switching? Thanks!
