Hatched!

Well, about a third of my axie eggs hatched today. They're so adorable! But when I popped some daphnia in for them to have a go at, I couldn't see any signs of feeding.

Should I be doing something in particular to encourage them to start feeding, or do they just need a bit of time to get over the "oh my god, I've been born!" stage?

They have there yolk sack they feed on the first fews days... then they will start to feed once they have used it up.

But remember keep the water very clean and lots of air... try to split them up into as many tanks/bowls/tubs as you can then more will live..

Good luck with them froggy. Mine are now about 5 weeks old and i have bowls and tubs all around the room. Its hard work but definitely worth the effort
