I bought a larger tank over the weekend for my little guys and it's sitting infront of their existing one and for most of the weekend they've all been lined up like this looking out at it, i think it's hilarious and had to share... (excuse the corporate sponsorship which comes with the picture, it's summer here)

Awwwww best of buddies that's so cute.

I love your cinnamon coloured axie, it's got lovely gills too

thanks! yin and yang (the black and white ones) unfortunately had their gills burnt by ammonia and they're in the process of growing back, i'm hoping that yin's grow back to the way they were because they were really long. I can't wait to put them in the new tank

lol...It's so exciting when you get a new tank. I remember trying to be very patient...(and not doing too well lol).

Don't forget to post some pics of them in the new tank when it's ready.

lol it's driving me nuts having the new tank, it's sitting on the floor of the lounge room and will be for the next week and a half because i can't lift it on my own and don't have any one to help, let alone the whole cycling process and landscaping... then there's the little guys peering out making me feel guilty by wanting to know how long that's going to take!

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
