It's not very clear, but Grimace Gargamel is a boy. (Black Melanoid.)

Moon Cookie (formally known as Titus) and Grimace Gargamel get along pretty well now.

They're all going to be in containers from now on until my 60 gallon tank has finished cycling. I'm still trying to get out all the water in the 20 gallon tank that Three of them were being housed in. I've been up since 5 doing house work and cleaning that tank out. I'll be swamped soon.

The two other Axolotls that aren't pictured are Bort and Little Boots, my two babies

This is Little Boots. He was in this little cup

I'll miss the baby size when they grow up. When they were smaller they could fit into Salsa Dixie cups while I cleaned their containers. They are sure sweet little things

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
