if i found a site containing great crested newts in the uk should i report it to someone and if so who, thanks

by your reaction chris i suppose you haven't got a clue what my question was about. heres an explanation in the uk great crested newts are protected as are the sites they inhabit (not websites) so if happened upon one it would be a good idea to report it to someone who could afford it the proper protection .

oh, i assumed websites. so are the sites they inhabit considered protected?

yes apparently everything about them are protected and you even need a license just to look for them ,intentionally of course
